Installation Guide

Install CRMGift from AppExchange in under 15 minutes.

Prerequisites

  • Salesforce org: Professional, Enterprise, or Unlimited edition
  • Lightning Experience enabled
  • System Administrator profile (for initial setup)

Step 1: Install from AppExchange

  1. Visit the CRMGift AppExchange listing
  2. Click Get It Now
  3. Choose your org (production or sandbox)
  4. Select Install for All Users (recommended) or admins only
  5. Approve third-party access when prompted

Installation typically completes in 2-5 minutes.

Step 2: Configure API Connection

  1. Navigate to Setup > Custom Settings > CRMGift Settings
  2. Click Manage and then New (org default)
  3. Enter your CRMGift API endpoint URL (provided after registration)
  4. Save your settings

Step 3: Add Components to Record Pages

  1. Open any Contact, Lead, or Opportunity record
  2. Click the gear icon > Edit Page to open Lightning App Builder
  3. Drag the CRMGift: Gift Sender component onto the page
  4. Optionally add the CRMGift: Gift Feed component for activity tracking
  5. Save and activate the page

Step 4: Set Up Payment

  1. Open the Gift Sender component on any record
  2. Click Set up payment when prompted
  3. Complete the secure Stripe-powered form (CRMGift never sees your card data)
  4. You're ready to send gifts!
