Installation & Setup

Which Salesforce editions does CRMGift support?

CRMGift works with Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited editions. Lightning Experience is required — Classic is not supported.

How long does installation take?

Most orgs are fully set up in under 15 minutes: ~5 minutes for AppExchange install, ~5 minutes for component placement, ~5 minutes for payment setup.

Do I need to be a Salesforce admin to install?

Yes, initial installation requires System Administrator access. After that, any user with the CRMGift permission set can send gifts.

Security & Compliance

Does CRMGift store my credit card information?

No. Rewards are funded through your Tremendous account balance. CRMGift never sees, processes, or stores payment data. You fund your Tremendous account directly.

Is CRMGift AppExchange security reviewed?

Yes. CRMGift has passed Salesforce's security review process. All API keys are stored server-side, CRUD/FLS is enforced on all objects, and all components are CSP-compliant.

Where is my data stored?

Gift records are stored as custom objects in your Salesforce org. The middleware API runs on Vercel's edge network and does not persist any customer data — it acts as a stateless proxy.

Gifting

Do recipients need a Salesforce account?

No. Recipients receive a beautiful email with a gift link. They can accept, swap, or enter their shipping address from any browser.

Can recipients swap gifts?

Yes. When you include multiple products in a reward, the recipient can choose their preferred option — gift cards, prepaid cards, or charity donations — from the selection you provide.

What countries do you ship to?

CRMGift currently supports the United States and Canada through Tremendous's reward network, with 2,000+ payout methods available.
